Our History
God has done marvelous things since the birth of our church in 1994. This is our story.
We are a community church which was started in 1994 by a small group of young people who agree to worship together in a two bedroom apartment. In January 1995, we launched our first Revival Service and God multiplied our numbers to 15 people. These 15 people raised enough money to rent musical instruments such as keyboard and a small PA system. With these meager instruments, we faithfully worship him.
God continued to multiply us and soon our little apartment is just too cramped for everybody to fit in. We have to look for a larger place. God’s grace led us to meet Pastor Ron Parish of Hope Chapel. We were fortunate because Pastor Ron used to be a missionary in Indonesia and he has a heart for Indonesian people. He let us use of one of the room in Hope Chapel for our service free of charge.
The year 2000 was a big year for us. We finally have a place on our own. God has blessed us tremendously. Our congregation has grown from 15 people to around 70 people now and now we have a complete set of musical instruments. Hallelujah!
We come together to worship God on Sunday mornings. In addition to that, we also meet in smaller groups (we called it care group) during the week. At present, we have twelve care groups located all over the greater A ustin area. In this small group, you will experience a sense of family and community.
We’re about fulfilling the Great Commission and sharing our genuine our love toward others regardless of race or nationalities. That’s our story.
