HPM Concert 2003 - City of Unity

During the last few weeks, the IFGF Austin family has been preparing for the much-anticipated Harvest Praise Ministry concert. We feel very privileged to be one of the few cities visited by the HPM team. HPM has been known for its City of Unity albums.

Several of our beloved brothers and sisters have been busy meeting and preparing the concert. The concert took place in Central Christian Church in downtown Austin. The concert started at about 6:30 pm, with the HPM team singing "All My Life," which later on turned out to be everyone's favorite song :) Most of us are not familiar with the songs, but the songs were not too hard, so we could all sing along.

Everyone was so blessed with the concert. In the middle of the concert, the Worship Leader (Pastor Rustanto), gave a testimony about how the Lord touched his family's life. His testimony was very touching and we were all amazed on what the Lord has done.

Towards the end of the concert, there was "door prize" drawing. The first round of prizes were a couple of gift certificate at a local restaurant. Ko Paulus, Peter, Richard, and Ci Lia were lucky enough to win the gift certificates. The next prize was a DVD player, which was given to Romeo. And guess who won the printer? It's our own Pastor Herman, who promised to give it back to the church :)

I believe everyone was blessed! The concert was amazing! After the concert, everyone was just hanging around and getting to know the HPM team (who were very friendly by the way). Some were taking pictures, others were asking for signatures. At the end of the day, everyone was happy with the outcome of the concert. Thanks for all of you who were involved in preparing the concert! Hopefully we could be blessed again by other concerts in the future!
